The kitchen is confirmed at this moment in time as Stefano’s preferred backdrop for his projects, as well as including some important additions to the “Mami” pot range. The oval casserole with lid is hard work from a technical and production standpoint as it requires complex and expensive moulds, not to mention difficult processing, but it is an indispensable element for a full saucepan range. For the body of the 14-liter pot, ideal for cooking risotto or large amounts of spaghetti, we chose aluminum, with a plain, brushed finish: the material is less heavy than stainless steel despite its thickness, and is an excellent heat conductor. The oil cruet for the kitchen has a stainless steel body whose sinuous shape harks back to the feminine, maternal code that was the guiding theme in “Mami”. The knives block is a vertical version to flank the horizontal “Mamibox” container, thus completing the series of “Mami” kitchen knives presented in previous editions.
